St Kilda West
With an initial brief of - let’s have fun - this project’s personality direction was set!
Originally built in the 1890s, the Federation house had been renovated several times and was ready for a complete transformation.
The existing heritage house was replanned to include a luxuriousnew sitting room, master bedroom suite with generous robe, and a home office. A contemporary extension with a relaxed city beach-house vibe was added to the rear facing the park.
The client wanted to create a family home that people gravitated to, warm inviting, full of self expression and noise. Custom furniture pieces were made locally and lighting sourced from artisans here and abroad.
