A beautiful collaboration with our dear friend Painter William MacKinnon. We turned an old beach house, overlooking a legendary Victorian surf break, into an extraordinary destination that pays tribute to holiday nostalgia and the art that’s defined his life.

Asked to layer in colour and warmth, we combined tones of yellow and muted greens with local vintage furniture finds,  which sits on the backdrop of an incredible art collection curated by Will over the years.

As you step over the threshold of the pale butter coloured weatherboard, canvases are attached to every square centimetre of wall space. Large, expansive oil paintings mix with charcoal portraits and lenticular landscapes invite the eye to linger and roam. 

Working with such a spectacular view and such an incredible talent really made this project very special.
